History
Founded in 2002 by David Boyce, Platinum DJ Productions was born and served primarily central Indiana. David launched his DJ career by shadowing several local wedding and club DJ’s. Over the next couple of years, David was able to master his craft and create the customer service and energy filled culture that resonates throughout Platinum DJ Productions today. Due to his immense popularity, David was not able to serve more than one event per evening and therefore expanded his fleet of DJ’s in 2006.
In order to expand, David wanted to ensure all events hosted by Platinum DJ Productions would be unparalleled. Therefore, David joined forces with Mark Smith to create the Platinum DJ Academy. This program provides all members of Platinum DJ Productions a rigorous training regimen to ensure all Platinum DJ’s are ready to serve at the highest level.
Over the course of the past decade, Platinum DJ Productions has hosted weddings and events throughout the Midwest. 2018 proved to be a monumental year, as Platinum DJ Productions celebrated the 1,500th wedding served. Both David and Mark attribute their success to unrelenting service delivery, catering to the customer, and doing anything and everything to truly Exceed your Expectations!
